Sumer is icumen in
As we bask in the UK's hottest summer on record, the best place to be is in the shade with a book of poetry. We are delighted to share our new recommended reading lists: the best new poetry, great poetry books for book groups, the best poetry for children, plus a scorching set of recommendations for YA readers. Most of the books are available now, the rest you can pre-order to enjoy on National Poetry Day, 3rd October
Head to our website for Truth poems, tips on things to do and summer poetry events and don't forget that our blog is also full of interesting articles, should you need more summer-time reading. And if you are planning a special celebration for National Poetry Day be sure to add it to our map. Happy holidays!
