Calling all children! Join our drawing challenge and you could see your art work bought to life in our super silly animation, which we'll be showing at the end of August.
To support the Silly Squad Summer Reading Challenge we'd love you to create your own creature creation. Squishy, wobbly, furry, spiky, be sure to use plenty of imagination but make sure it's silly.
Email your JPEG drawings by Wednesday 5 August. All drawings submitted by the closing date will be used, either in a short animation or slideshow.
Taking part in this creative activity can count towards your Arts Award Discover. If you're not already taking part in Arts Award contact us to find out how.

In partnership with South West library authority colleagues we'll be bringing you digital events to support the Summer Reading Challenge. There'll be authors, poets, illustrators and more to entertain you every Thursday starting on 30 July.
Our first event will be a session of side-splitting silly stuff with children's author Andy Seed. In this online event, Andy will talk about his book and how he came to write it, and share some fun excerpts about silly people, silly inventions, silly sports, silly words and silly jokes - perfect for the Summer Reading Challenge #SillySquad!
